Hal Seki, a distinguished geolocation service developer with over two decades of experience, has been making significant contributions to the field of geospatial technology since 2002. As the founder of Code for Japan, Hal has established one of the largest civic tech communities in the country, actively fostering innovation and collaboration in addressing social issues.

In 2021, Hal expanded his professional portfolio by joining the Digital Agency as a Senior Expert in civic tech. In this role, he has continued to offer his expertise to advance the use of technology in addressing societal challenges. Concurrently, Hal has maintained his leadership positions at HackCamp, Code for Japan, and Geolonia.

As the board of Geolonia and CEO of HackCamp, Hal provides expert consulting and development services in the realm of location-based systems and supports organizations in implementing open innovation strategies.
